What they did
- A USB mic or Bluetooth speaker with a mic, so he can talk from any room.
- A tiny program listens for the word. He says sound is checked and thrown away, never saved.
- He lowered sensitivity so plain "Grok" doesn't trigger it, and it ignores the word during calls.
- While cooking, he asks his There Lists bot to add ingredients to his store list.

Our adapted version
Ours Our version, built from his post. He shared the steps, not a prompt. Fill in the [BRACKETS].
Set it up
- Test with the built-in "Hey Jarvis" word first.
- Paste the prompt so your bot sets up a custom "Hey Grok" model.
- Tune sensitivity and set it to start with your Mac.
🛡 The listener only opens voice chat. What happens next is a normal Grok Bot chat. Sending, buying, posting, and deleting always need a human.
